Chalk Mountain is located in Atascadero. This well-established and beautifully maintained course boasts the most comfortable and easy-going atmosphere of SLO County Parks’ three courses. The pleasant home-style clubhouse and snack bar are set within a landscape of mature Blue Oak and Pine forest. The challenging fairways of this course have been a favorite of golfers in the county for many years. Heilmann Regional Park is next to Chalk Mountain and offers group day use picnic areas perfect for planning after tournament awards barbecues.
